LUPO Dog Center

LUPO Dog Center stands for quality, according to modern, positive methods and codes of conduct.

The teaching method is actively used, and through frequent annual refresher courses I ensure that it is and remains completely “up to date”.

Did you know that LUPO is Italian for wolf?

The wolf and the dog are close relatives and belong to the canid family.

LUPO Dog Center; a good idea because:

Through research and study, more and more is known about dogs and their behavior. That’s why I don’t want to dwell on old, outdated handling and training methods. All courses are therefore offered to you in a professional, personal and relaxed manner in a dog-friendly manner. You will receive tailor-made guidance for each combination, from puppies to older dogs. You teach your dog to understand and communicate in dog language because with this language the dog also understands you. We will motivate behavior that we want to see and limit, but above all we will prevent undesirable behavior as much as possible.

Respect

A dog and human relationship is not related to who is the boss or who is the leader. It is about working together and respecting each other, you cannot force this, you can only get this by providing the right guidance and direction to the dog.

Guidance

The word guidance is therefore central to LUPO. We humans are the ones who take a dog into our home, so delving into dog behavior and providing proper guidance is at least what our dogs can expect from us.

Collaborate and invest

You as the owner recognize the needs of your dog and act in an honest manner that shows respect, this will require the necessary time and energy from you

In other words...

The course offered by LUPO Dog Center is applicable to every dog owner who wants to train his dog in peace and without coercion. In addition, it is important that you are interested in your dog’s behavior. Calming signals (Turid Rugaas) form the basis of the courses.

“Meet your dog in a way that he too understands. Learn to see him as he is, learn to recognize what he tells you in his language; learn to understand your dog. It is the basis for a happy dog’s life” (Turid Rugaas)

Because the well-being and health of the dog is important to me, the dogs must wear a harness and not a collar. Various types of harnesses are for sale at LUPO! Slip chains or other slipping/corrective collars or anti-pulling harnesses are not used. Not even haltis, Gentle leaders or other head halters.
