Dog harness

Why do I advise your dog to wear a harness instead of a collar? I advise this because the use of collars can cause neck problems. Slip chains, haltis, shock collars, anti-pull harnesses etc., these certainly cause these neck problems, as well as problem behavior. Also no anti-pull harness! That causes the same behavior as the slip chain, halti, shock collar etc.

In recent years, this has increasingly been shown in research with dogs. Also no anti-pull harness! That causes the same as the slip chain, halti, shock collar etc. Namely, pulling on a regular collar causes, for example, displaced cervical vertebrae, a damaged trachea, damaged thyroid gland, damaged nerves, less blood supply to the brain, which causes the breakdown of brain cells.
This causes the dog (at a later age) to exhibit problem behavior or become ill, for example thyroiditis.
Dogs that lunge at other dogs will eventually lunge more often and more violently when wearing a collar.
The pain that occurs when this lunging occurs, also in combination with the withdrawal of the owner, is a stimulus that the dog does not associate as negative. On the contrary, the dog will only be stimulated by this pain stimulus to repeat the behavior and even worsen it.
By helping the dog pull and increase the pain as an owner, the bond with the dog will also be damaged, because the dog must feel safe with the owner.
